Cascade Microtech has made the fastest wafer-level solution for testing discrete devices even better. The PA200 BlueRay™ probe system is now the only probe system in the world that can be upgraded from a semiautomatic to a fully-automated wafer prober in the field in a few hours. To meet growing production demands, a unique, wafer-handling robot can be docked onto the PA200 BlueRay. Once the docking process is complete, the robot then handles all wafers automatically.
Testing applications that you develop in the lab on the semiautomatic BlueRay can be moved to the production floor using the same probing platform. All that's required is a simple upgrade to the fully automated AP200 BlueRay. Since the test platform remains constant from ramp-up to production, changeover costs and capital investments are reduced.
The BlueRay is precise and flexible enough for highly accurate testing of any optoelectronic, MEMS or RF device. Plus, the BlueRay has a high mean time between failures (MTBF) for reliable, on-wafer probing.
