Business expansion reflects regional growth of semiconductor market

Beaverton, Ore.– July 3, 2006 – Opening two new sales and service offices in Asia, Cascade Microtech (Nasdaq: CSCD) is expanding its operations to meet the needs of a rapidly growing customer base in the region. The expansion reflects the global growth of the semiconductor market and the company’s rapid sales growth in the Asian-Pacific region. In order to better serve existing customers and expand to serve new customers, the company will now offer direct sales, service and applications support in the new offices located in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China and Hsin Chu City, Taiwan. Cascade Microtech is a worldwide leader in the precise electrical measurement and test of integrated circuits (ICs) and other small structures.
