Beaverton, Ore. — November 28, 2005 — Cascade Microtech (Nasdaq: CSCD), the worldwide leader in precise electrical measurements on small structures, today announced it was named the Oregon Mid/Small Cap Company of the Year at the 2005 Technology Awards. The 22nd annual Technology Awards, held November 17 at the Governor Hotel’s Heritage Ballroom in downtown Portland, brought together members of Oregon’s technology industry to celebrate innovation and leadership in their field.
Cascade Microtech set itself apart from other applicants through demonstrated excellence in all categories of selection criteria, which included customer satisfaction, competitive advantage, leadership in Oregon’s technology sector, employee satisfaction, technology development, and performance history.
The 2005 Technology Awards event was a fundraiser for Learning For Life, a non-profit organization whose programs provide more than 16,000 at-risk boys and girls with lessons in character building, decision-making, and other life-skills to help them reach their full potential.
Cascade Microtech continues to innovate and expand into new markets. According to CEO Eric Strid, Cascade Microtech is determined to advance its leadership role in providing test equipment for new technologies. “We’re all about innovation and finding new growth areas in both technology and the market,” said Strid.
