| Essential Functions |

| Maximizes manufacturing yield and leads flawless execution of manufacturing new product introductions for electro-mechanical assemblies. (Pyramid Probes) Acts as key technical member of cross-functional Probes Manufacturing Engineering group and as project leader for new product introductions. The manufacturability and quality of products are a direct result of your work. Sets the right priorities and makes sound technical decisions in a fast-paced environment regarding manufacturing processes for complex products. Works with the development team and champions the MFG new product introductions including but not limited to fixtures, equipment and processes qualification for manufacturability. The job functions include project management; coordination with other MFG engineering team members to solve integrated manufacturing issues; capital planning, budgeting, order placement, installation and qualification; characterization and optimization of the manufacturing processes; and ensuring NPI deliverables on schedule. Establishes, sustains and optimizes manufacturing processes for Pyramid Probe products through the use of statistical process control tools. Responsible for continuous improvement in manufacturing process yield. Defines, documents and trains on incoming material quality and its effects on final products and on work instructions for manufactured products. Defines, optimizes and monitors equipment and environmental parameters key to MFG processes. Establishes and improves operational, calibration, troubleshooting and PM procedures and schedules for manufacturing equipment. Budgets and tracks the spare parts inventory to maximize machine availability. Leads, establishes and trains on escalations caused by process down events. Maintains lab records, documents experiments and outcomes. Collects test data related to manufacturing processes and updates manufacturing database. | Technical Skills and Knowledge |

| Requires top-notch technical instincts and demonstrated confidence, commitment, creativity and passion in solving tough problems; outstanding demonstrated process optimization experience (using JMP© or other statistical software) and knowledge of solid modeling software (SolidWorks or other design software); outstanding demonstrated experience with project management and new product introductions; skill with MS Word, Excel, Project, and other programs useful for effectively manipulating data and presenting results; excellent team and interpersonal skills – work well in collaboration; excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an open, direct style. Requires solid knowledge of controlled engineering change order processes. Must have experience applying MRP, JIT, Assemble-to-Order and Design for Manufacturability concepts. Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or electrical, electronics and mechanical design/assembly for a BS degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or another related Engineering field. An MS degree is an advantage. More senior applicants will have broad opportunities to exercise technical leadership. Demonstrated capabilities in the following areas will be considered a valuable bonus: detail-orientation, troubleshooting complex technical problems, setting up and executing effective design of experiments, a strong background in thin-film fabrication or the semiconductor industry; experience in designing/manufacturing/repairing probe cards, use/implementation of ATE (Automated Test Equipment) and fixture/tooling design and assembly. |
