Geoff Wild
Chief Executive Officer
Geoff Wild has most recently been president and chief executive officer of Nikon Precision Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, where he has worked since 2002. Prior to that, he held general management positions of increasing responsibility at Johnson Matthey and AlliedSignal. Mr. Wild holds a B.Sc. degree in chemistry from the University of Bath, in the United Kingdom.
Steven Sipowicz
Chief Financial Officer
Steven Sipowicz joined Cascade as chief financial officer in July, 2004. Prior to that, from November 1999 through November 2003, he served as chief financial officer at Corillian Corporation, a public company that provides online financial services. Steven has also served as CFO of F.I.C.S. Group, N.V., a Belgian financial software and services company; Intrinsa Corporation, a development tools company and Integrated Systems, Inc., a public company that provided operating system software. Steven holds a BS in Chemistry from Bristol University (U.K.), an MBA from Santa Clara University and is also a certified public accountant.
Eric W. Strid
Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Technical Officer
Eric W. Strid leads Cascade Microtech's advanced measurement technology development as Chief Technical Officer. Co-founding Cascade Microtech in 1983, Eric has held positions as chairman, president, and CEO. Prior to 1984, Eric served as a principal engineer with Tektronix, Inc. and with TriQuint Semiconductor, where he designed and evaluated high-frequency gallium arsenide integrated circuits. Eric holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
John E. Pence
Vice President, Business Development
John E. Pence has served as vice president of Engineering Products Division since May 2000. From April 1997 to February 2000, he served as our vice president of Probing Systems. From 1993 to April 1997, John served us as a product marketing manager. Prior to joining Cascade Microtech, John worked as an engineer in the Space and Communications Division of Hughes Aircraft Company. He holds a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
Willis Damkroger
Vice President, Sales and Customer Support
Willis Damkroger joined Cascade Microtech in February 2006, after 30 years in the Semiconductor, MCM, and LCD Industries. Willis has held various Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Operations positions, but most recently served as Vice President, GM at White Electronic Designs Display Division, President COO of Innovacomm Technologies, and Vice President Sales and Marketing at Maxtek, Inc. He majored in History at San Jose State University and West Valley College.
K. Reed Gleason
Co-founder, Vice President Advanced Development
Reed Gleason invented the first high-frequency wafer probes with Eric Strid in 1980 and co-founded Cascade Microtech in 1983. Reed provides leadership to Cascade Microtech's advanced probe technology developments. Prior to founding Cascade Microtech, Reed was a senior physicist with Tektronix, Inc. in Beaverton, OR conducting research in gallium arsenide devices and integrated circuits. He began his career as an electronic engineer for the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Washington D.C. where he spent 11 years in semiconductor device development and analysis. Reed has been awarded 6 patents with two pending. His work has been published in more than 20 professional publications. In 1991, he received the IEEE MTT Microwave Applications Award for Development of Microprobe Technology. Reed holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.
