Upgrade to WinCal XE from WinCal 2006

WinCal XE is available free to registered WinCal 2006 owners. To get this new version simply follow the upgrade procedure outlined below.

Upgrade procedure

Having registered your copy of WinCal 2006 you are entitled to a free upgrade to WinCal XE. Here's how to get your free upgrade:
  1. Use the Field Utility tool in WinCal 2006 to generate a code string from the WinCal 2006 key.
    The User's Guide has a section describing the tool.  (See: Start-All Programs-Cascade Microtech-WinCal 2006-Field Utility).
  2. Copy the code string the tool generates from the key and complete the form below.
  3. Sales will check your registration and email you the unlocking code for WinCal XE.
  4. Paste the unlocking code into the lower field in the Field Utility tool.

You must have the WinCal 2006 key attached when using this tool remove any other keys.

After the upgrade the key will enable both WinCal 2006 and XE.

  1. You will be shipped a CD with WinCal XE, which you then can install. It will not uninstall WinCal 2006. You can leave 2006 installed or uninstall it at a later time.

WinCal XE will pick up WinCal 2006 settings the first time it runs, but then keep them separate. The shipment will also include a new label for the key, -add it to the key ring to remember that XE was enabled for this key.
