Geoff Wild

Chief Executive Officer

Geoff Wild has most recently been president and chief executive officer of Nikon Precision Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, where he has worked since 2002. Prior to that, he held general management positions of increasing responsibility at Johnson Matthey and AlliedSignal. Mr. Wild holds a B.Sc. degree in chemistry from the University of Bath, in the United Kingdom.

Eric W. Strid

Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Technical Officer

Eric W. Strid leads Cascade Microtech's advanced measurement technology development as Chief Technical Officer. Co-founding Cascade Microtech in 1983, Eric has held positions as chairman, president, and CEO. Prior to 1984, Eric served as a principal engineer with Tektronix, Inc. and with TriQuint Semiconductor, where he designed and evaluated high-frequency gallium arsenide integrated circuits. Eric holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Steven Sipowicz

Chief Financial Officer

Steven Sipowicz joined Cascade as chief financial officer in July, 2004. Prior to that, from November 1999 through November 2003, he served as chief financial officer at Corillian Corporation, a public company that provides online financial services. Steven has also served as CFO of F.I.C.S. Group, N.V., a Belgian financial software and services company; Intrinsa Corporation, a development tools company and Integrated Systems, Inc., a public company that provided operating system software. Steven holds a BS in Chemistry from Bristol University (U.K.), an MBA from Santa Clara University and is also a certified public accountant.

John E. Pence

Vice President and General Manager, Engineering Products Division

John E. Pence has served as vice president of Engineering Products Division since May 2000. From April 1997 to February 2000, he served as our vice president of Probing Systems. From 1993 to April 1997, John served us as a product marketing manager. Prior to joining Cascade Microtech, John worked as an engineer in the Space and Communications Division of Hughes Aircraft Company. He holds a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Willis Damkroger

Vice President and General Manager, Production Products Division

Willis Damkroger joined Cascade Microtech in February 2006, after 30 years in the Semiconductor, MCM, and LCD Industries. Willis has held various Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Operations positions, but most recently served as Vice President, GM at White Electronic Designs Display Division, President COO of Innovacomm Technologies, and Vice President Sales and Marketing at Maxtek, Inc. He majored in History at San Jose State University and West Valley College.

K. Reed Gleason

Co-founder, Vice President Advanced Development

Reed Gleason invented the first high-frequency wafer probes with Eric Strid in 1980 and co-founded Cascade Microtech in 1983. Reed provides leadership to Cascade Microtech's advanced probe technology developments. Prior to founding Cascade Microtech, Reed was a senior physicist with Tektronix, Inc. in Beaverton, OR conducting research in gallium arsenide devices and integrated circuits. He began his career as an electronic engineer for the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Washington D.C. where he spent 11 years in semiconductor device development and analysis. Reed has been awarded 6 patents with two pending. His work has been published in more than 20 professional publications. In 1991, he received the IEEE MTT Microwave Applications Award for Development of Microprobe Technology. Reed holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.

Art Smith

Director, Human Resources

Art Smith joined Cascade in July, 2001. Prior to that, he served as a consultant in RW & Associates, Inc., a human resources management consulting firm. Art has also served as Director of Human Resources for the Quantum Corporation and Fujitsu Computer Products of America, both multi-national manufacturers of computer peripherals. Earlier in his career Art spent 10 years in various human resources positions in the PepsiCo family of companies. Art holds a BS in Business from Niagara University and is a certified trainer, facilitator in total quality concepts, leadership development and team building.

Anand Nambiar

Vice President of Quality and Supply Chain

Anand joined Cascade Microtech as Vice President of Quality and Supply Chain in April 2008. Prior to that, he held the position of Associate Director of Quality at Nikon Precision Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Nikon Corporation. He has several years of semiconductor industry experience and is globally oriented having worked closely with subsidiaries and suppliers in Europe and Asia as well as in domestic locations. Anand has a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from UC Berkeley.

Akshay Gupta

Vice President of R&D and Marketing, Engineering Products Division

Akshay Gupta joined Cascade as Director of Marketing In April, 2004. Prior to that, Akshay was product general manager at Iomega where he started the Network Storage Systems Division. He has also served as the director of product marketing for InFocus and Proxima during the merger. He managed their systems integration, home entertainment roadmaps and product efforts. Akshay has also held product, technical marketing and sales positions in projection display industry. He holds a BA in Mathematics and Physics from Whitman College and an MBA from Portland State University.

Mike Kondrat

Vice President of Marketing, Production Products Division

Mike has over 30 years of experience in ATE and EDA industry, holding various positions in engineering, management, and marketing at Tektronix, Integrated Measurement Systems (IMS), OPMAXX, and Credence. Prior to joining Cascade Microtech, Mike served as Senior Director of Strategic Marketing for Credence Systems Corporation. Mike is an IEEE member, active in test-related forums. He published many technical papers and articles related to test and DFT. Mike holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA.

Paul O'Mara

Vice President of Sales and Service, Engineering Products Division

After more than 30 years in the computer, broadcast equipment and electron microscopy industries, Paul O’Mara joined Cascade Microtech in March 2008. He has held various sales, service, operations and general management positions and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Customer Service at FEI Company, the leading supplier of electron and ion beam microscopy systems. Paul holds a BS in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sussex, England.

Wayne Poe

Director of Worldwide Sales and Applications, Production Products Division

Wayne joined Cascade Microtech in January of 2005. He held various positions at Production Products Division, including Regional Sales Manager and National Sales Manager. Wayne has over 20 years of experience in semiconductor test industry. He started his career as a design and application engineer. Prior to Cascade Microtech, he held sales and business management positions at Kulick & Sofa and MJC. Wayne holds a bachelor's degree in Business.
